'Bad Boys: Ride Or Die' Aims to Steer Clear of Obstacles

Adil & Bilall's direction is precise and stylish. This installment of the BAD BOYS franchise is the briefest so far, but the filmmakers skillfully include a plethora of content. The character development is captivating. Marcus, who previously embraced a 'non-violent' approach, has now transformed into a completely contrasting, carefree individual, guaranteeing plenty of comedic moments.

Martin Lawrence steals the show with his comedic timing and convincing performance. Will Smith complements him well by reacting to his one-liners with subtlety. Eric Dane's portrayal of the villain falls short due to the writing. Joe Pantoliano shines in his role, while Jason Davis has minimal screen time. The supporting cast, including Melanie Liburd, Paola Núñez, Rhea Seehorn, and Quinn Hemphill, deliver solid performances. Ioan Gruffudd makes a lasting impression in the latter part of the film. Jacob Scipio stands out in the action sequences. Tiffany Haddish brings entertainment value to the movie. Dennis Greene surprises with his performance. Cameos by John Salley and DJ Khaled are decent. Jay Shetty's unexpected appearance adds an interesting twist in Bad Boys: Ride or Die 2024 on Soap2 day. Their determination to vindicate Captain Howard ends up backfiring, leading them to be portrayed as criminals. Now they are fugitives, facing not only the actual cartel members, but also the U.S. Marshals and various individuals in Miami's criminal underworld eager to claim the substantial reward for their capture!
