BOROUGE 4 PROJECT PARTNERS WITH AESTHETIX FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES AND ERGONOMICS STUDY: ENHANCING DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY

Supported by ADNOC and Borealis, the prestigious Borouge 4 project has appointed Aesthetix to oversee the architectural, ergonomic, and interior design of the newly constructed Central Control Building. Borouge, a leading provider of innovative plastic solutions, operates one of the world's largest ethylene, polyethylene, propylene, and polypropylene production facilities in the UAE.

Aesthetix, an established global leader in telecom system integration, ergonomics research, and control room solutions, is honored to contribute to this project. Tasked with evaluating and enhancing the state-of-the-art Control Building Design and project space, Aesthetix aims to improve workspace functionality and prevent potential work-related issues through a comprehensive ergonomic study. Their meticulous efforts will ensure an exquisite and ergonomically sustainable work environment for all.

Upon completion, the Borouge 4 project is expected to increase Borouge's annual polyolefin production by 6.4 million metric tonnes, significantly boosting the UAE's downstream industrial sector. The project, slated for completion by 2025, is notable for its innovative approach to sustainability, including a carbon unit designed to absorb emissions generated during operations. Additionally, the project is set to enhance the UAE's diversification efforts and strengthen the supply chain.
