Day 1: Rishikesh to Joshimath drive (6,725 ft)
Your trekking journey commences with a picturesque 9-10 hour drive over the Garhwal Himalayas, via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag to arrive at Joshimath**, the entry point to Pangarchulla.
Day 2: Gulling (9,650 ft) | Trek from Joshimath | 5-6 Hours
Begin your trek at Dhak village, trekking through oak and rhododendron forests to the Gulling campsite, the first glimpse of snow-covered Himalayan peaks.
Day 3: Gulling to Khullara (11,200 ft) | 4-5 Hours Trek
Proceed your climb through **alpine meadows and dense forest to the Khullara campsite, with breathtaking views of Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, and Neelkanth peaks.
Day 4: Acclimatization & Exploration Day
An important rest day at Khullara to acclimatize your body to the height. Short treks will be conducted to acclimatize for the Pangarchulla summit push.
Day 5: Khullara to Pangarchulla Summit (15,069 ft) – Back to Khullara
The toughest and most rewarding day! Start your summit attempt early morning, traversing rocky ridges and deep snowfields. The last climb is steep but provides unmatched views of the Nanda Devi range. Return to Khullara for the night.
Day 6: Khullara to Joshimath | 6-7 Hours Trek & Drive
Return through green meadows and forests, back to Joshimath to celebrate your successful trek.
Day 7: Joshimath to Rishikesh Drive
The long but picturesque drive back to **Rishikesh, the culmination of a memorable Pangarchulla Trek adventure.
Best Time to Visit Pangarchulla Trek
