Vastu Shastra Tree

Vastu Shastra also prescribes certain trees as beneficial for planting around your home. Here are some considerations for Vastu trees:

Placement: Unlike plants that can be kept inside the house, vastu shastra tree are typically planted strategically outdoors in specific directions around your property.

South-West Zone: This zone is considered ideal for planting fruit trees like mango, pomegranate, or jackfruit. However, avoid large trees that can cast excessive shadows on the house.

North-West Zone:  This zone is generally recommended for planting medicinal trees like neem or tulsi (holy basil). These trees are believed to have air purifying properties and bring positive energy.

East Zone: The east zone is considered auspicious for planting trees that provide shade and don't grow too large. Options include banana trees (considered sacred in some cultures) or Ashok trees (known for their beautiful flowers).

Trees to Avoid:

Thorny Trees: According to Vastu, thorny trees like babool or cactus are inauspicious and should be avoided near your home.

Large Trees in the North or North-East:  Large trees in these zones can block sunlight and potentially disrupt positive energy flow.

Milk-Producing Trees: Trees like banyan or peepal, while sacred in some cultures, are not recommended for planting too close to the house due to their root systems and potential for attracting insects.
